It’s a bird…it's a crane

Use of the camera crane brings a whole new dimension to the kinds of angles and camera movement Rock Solid can achieve. Many times we are called upon to capture subjects that don’t move. To keep visual interest the camera is moved instead. Anyone with a video camera can zoom a lens, but what creates a unique shot is either the subtle or dramatic camera movement from a camera crane. Imagine the video demo that you are about to watch if the camera were just locked to a tripod. The crane is one of many tools. It is another color in the pallet we use to create  professional finished products for our clients.

It's here, it's there, it's everywhere!

A GoPro is a miniature high definition camera that is normally used by extreme sports enthusiasts. They attach these small cameras to their helmets, surfboards, motorbikes and the like to capture images that were previously impossible to shoot. Rock Solid saw these little cameras as an opportunity to capture images for our clients due to their flexibility and the wide-angle look they capture. Not only do we mount them to our video drone, but we mount them on equipment to capture the manufacturing process as well as place them at angles impossible for a larger camera to shoot. From 1000's of feet up in the air to underwater shots, sometimes you just have to GoPro or go home.
